Our chip remapping products and services
Traditionally, the only way one could remap and optimize the software settings of a vehicle is by having it done in a specialized shop. Meaning, you have to be lucky enough to live nearby one to get it done.
Our innovative products and services allow us to deliver top quality vehicle tuning wherever you live. Thanks to cutting edge technology and the opportunities to offer remote consulting and customer service through the internet, we are now able to break down the traditional barriers, offering you top notch vehicle tuning around the globe.
Our user-friendly and ingenious consoles are so easy to use, allowing you, with a little help from us, to optimize your vehicle yourself.
Services included when purchasing a console:
Nearly all modern vehicles contain an ECU (Engine Control Unit). The ECU is a small computer and is effectively the engine’s brain. In every ECU there is software installed tasked with controlling all the signals and different parameters in the engine. Running on default software settings a vehicle isn’t running optimally.
A finely tuned engine will deliver enhanced performance. With our innovative products and services, we will help you optimize your engine without compromising safety. Additionally, you can expect:
- Increased torque
- Increased fuel efficiency
- A more comfortable driving experience
EGR is short for Exhaust Gas Recirculation and is a system used in both diesel and petrol engines. Engines at high temperatures will emit nitrogen oxide. The system works by recirculating portions of the exhaust back to the engine through the EGR-valve, cooling it and reducing its emission.
The EGR system, however, does have its glaring weaknesses. Because it recirculates exhaust gases, the EGR-valve can be clogged up with carbon deposits over time. It works best on state-of-the-art highways allowing you to run the engine at higher speed and revolutions over time. Contrary, the system doesn’t work well at low speeds and revolutions. Meaning, the system isn’t optimal for the driving patterns common in urban environments.
If your EGR-valve is clogged up, you traditionally have two options. You can either clean the valve or have it replaced altogether. Cleaning the valve without changing the driving pattern will cause it to clog up again in just a matter of time. Replacing the valve is an expensive option.
The cheapest and most effective solution, in most cases, is to deactivate the EGR-system. By turning off the system before any problem occurs will save your engine a lot of wear and potential repairing costs.
Deactivating the EGR-system can be done by changing the code in the vehicle’s software settings. We include a deactivation of the system upon your request.
AdBlue is a fluid used in diesel engines to reduce emissions. Mostly all newer diesel engines come with its separate tank for AdBlue, and the liquid creates a chemical reaction when it comes in contact with the exhaust gases, reducing the emission of nitrogen oxide.
Should you forget to fill up the tank before it runs out, you run the risk of damaging your engine. And just like EGR, AdBlue does not operate optimally at low engine temperatures. When there is a defect in the system, the engine will go into limp mode giving you a reduced engine output.
Repairing and replacing the system is quite an expensive option. Meaning, it’s often cheaper, in the long run, to deactivate the use of AdBlue.
Deactivating the use of AdBlue can be done by changing the code in the vehicle’s software settings. We include a deactivation of the system upon your request.
The start-stop system automatically shuts off the engine when you stop, for instance in intersections, and starts it back up when you hit the gas pedal. Driving in urban environments traffic lights, intersections, and traffic jams frequently force you to stop. By shutting off the engine while it’s idle reduces emission.
Naturally, the start-stop system will cause more wear to the engine. If you drive mostly in urban environments, the frequency of which your engine has to restart itself will fatigue it. The constant restart of the engine can also be quite annoying in the long run.
Deactivating the start-stop-system can be done by changing the code in the vehicle’s software settings. We include a deactivation of the system upon your request.
Some modern cars come with a speed limiter, meaning the manufacturer has placed a limit to how fast your car can run.
Deactivating the speed limiter can be done by changing the code in the vehicle’s software settings. We include a deactivation of the system upon your request.
